Thanks to modern dental capabilities, patients seeking smile makeovers are able to choose from a range of cosmetic dental treatments. This ensures cosmetic patients will be comfortable with the procedure, anticipate treatment results, and end with the smile they’ve been imagining. Cosmetic treatment doesn’t need to be invasive or highly involved to bear stunning results. Porcelain veneers make it possible to gain an entirely new smile with minimal loss of natural tooth structure.

How Do Porcelain Veneers Work?

Dental veneers are thin facings (coverings) that bond to natural teeth. Because of their lightness and thinness, they are able to fit over natural teeth with only slight tooth reduction. Whereas crowns replace more of a tooth’s structure, veneers essentially create new outer enamel layers. While they are less durable than crowns, they are ideal for front teeth because they are aesthetically superior to other restorations. Porcelain veneers look, feel, and behave like natural front teeth. They reflect light in the way enamel does, are slightly translucent, and will match your natural tooth color precisely. Veneers are the conservative way to alter an entire smile.

Veneers will repair:

  • Chipped teeth
  • Broken teeth
  • Cracked teeth
  • Stained teeth that refuse to whiten
  • Misshapen teeth
  • Crooked teeth (that’s right, veneers can even resolve minor misalignment – no orthodontics necessary!)
  • Short front teeth

Porcelain veneers take only two appointments to receive. They will create your most beautiful smile in a brief time, getting you back to your regular life with renewed confidence and zeal.

Lumineers®: The Thinnest Veneer Solution

LUMNEERS-THINLumineers are the ultimate aesthetic veneer. Their incredible thinness (just as thin as a contact lens) makes them both gorgeous and simple to receive. Because of their construction, Lumineers may be placed without any prior drilling or tooth reduction. This eliminates temporary wear, makes you more comfortable, and may even negate the need for dental anesthesia during your procedure. Our patients love drill-free, shot-free dentistry, and we strive to deliver it to them whenever possible. Lumineers are the most comfortable path to complete smile transformation.

Aesthetic concerns that you’ve struggled with for years can be resolved in just two appointments. Contact our practice to discover what Lumineers could do for you, your smile, and your life.

LUMINEERS

TRADITIONAL
VENEERS

lumineers-before
Before
Teeth are stained, slightly misshapen with spaces in-between. A digital impression is taken and is sent to the Cerinate Smile Design Studios where only Lumineers are crafted.
Before
Teeth appear stained and slightly misshapen. An impression is made and sent to a dental lab that fabricates a variety of dental restorations. The patient waits for the veneers to return.
LUMINEERS – No Uncomfortable Tooth Prep
lumineers-prep
On next dental visit, the dentist places the Lumineers to ensure a good fit. Teeth are moderately etched to prepare for placement but there is no removal of sensitive tooth structure. Lumineers are bonded to teeth and set in place with a curing light.
Traditional Veneer Tooth Preparation
trad-veneers_prep
Anesthetic shots are given to numb the area and teeth are severely shaved away with a drill to accommodate the veneers. Temporary veneers must be worn until the next appointment when the final veneers are placed, at which point the temporaries are removed.
Only 2 Visits
lumineers-after
In only 2 easy dental visits, your patient will have a permanently whiter and beautiful smile without shots or drilling.
Potential Discomfort After
gum-after-veneers
A better, but still flawed smile, as the procedure is not reversible like Lumineers because the original teeth have been shaved down causing your patient discomfort immediately after the procedure.

How Digital Impressions Transform Treatment

itero digital impressionsTraditional impressions leave much to be desired. Having to deal with the goop and mess associated with the process is unpleasant for many patients, especially those with a sensitive gag reflex or dental anxiety.

Digital impressions transform your treatment planning. Our dentists use iTero to take virtual, highly accurate 3D impressions of your teeth and the inside of your mouth.

Capturing precise, detailed images to aid in Lumineer treatment planning helps us provide the best possible results. This helps us make fewer adjustments along the way and streamline your Lumineer treatment process. iTero also allows our providers to digitally project how your teeth will look after porcelain veneers and show you those projected results.
