Prior to treatment, we will review your child’s health history so that we’ll be able to better monitor tooth development. Depending on your child’s age and comfort level, we may recommend a brief preliminary visit during which there is no dental exam; this will simply be a chance to grow more familiar with our staff and facilities. We’ll show them the tools we use during cleanings, take a tour of the office, and communicate with your children that there is nothing threatening about dental treatment.

Steps of a Pediatric Dental Exam

- A quick, flavored fluoride treatment (one minute) to help build enamel
- Applying sealants to molars to prevent cavities
